What can be said about the incomparable Disney World? We hope that MILOfest 2015 gives you the opportunity to take a vacation with your family and turn an excellent trip into a magical trip.
What’s important for you to know is that there are special discount ticks for part-day admission. You can bring your family, attend the conference during the day, and then jet over to hang out with them in the evening. We’re designing all of the programming so that we end at 4pm or 2pm. That’s still plenty of time to take advantage of the theme parks and make a fun time out of it. ‘Nuff said.
One of the benefits of staying on Disney property is the sheer number of places to eat. You could spend forever evaluating all of your choices because you can have just about anything your heart desires. Here is some information on the restaurants located on the Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, but look at any of the other resorts, Downtown Disney or any of the Theme Parks for hundreds of choices.
One of the most exciting aspects of MILOfest 2015 is that it’s being held at the Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. The Yacht Club is one of the few resorts with footbridge access to EPCOT resort, which is perfect during the International Food & Wine Festival going on during the conference.

We recommend that you stay right on the property where the conference is being held, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. It is a wonderful facility, within walking distance to EPCOT, the Boardwalk Inn, and a boat ride away from Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We’ve been able to secure a room rate of $189/night (which is nearly $165 less than what they charge normally for this time of year), but the room block is limited. You are encouraged to make your reservations early.
For your benefit, Disney World is extending the $189/night room rate for 3 days before and 3 days after the conference. Enjoy and email us at info[at]milofest[dot]com with any questions.
Here is the description of the resort from Disney World’s website:

MILOfest 2015 is being held in Orlando, FL at the Disney World Yacht & Beach Club Resort. Orlando is serviced by two airports, Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). Check both for the best deal on travel.
As a conference attendee for a Disney World event, you receive complimentary airport transfers from Orlando International Airport. Make your transfer reservations when you book your hotel room.
My favorite sites for booking and researching air travel are:
Kayak – http://www.kayak.com/ – Kayak researching flights on all of the major airlines (except a few like Southwest & Jet Blue) and compares them for you. You can set the departure times from both legs of the trip, select non-stop, and research nearby airports for the best deals.
Farecast – http://www.bing.com/travel – Farecast (recently purchased by Microsoft/Bing) lets you research flight prices and gives you a sense of whether those prices will go up or down in the next 7 days. Very useful.
