As is always the case, I try to bring the best and most interesting things to MILOfest. This year is no exception. In the world of premium bags, there are are only a few companies worth mentioning.  In my mind they are, Tom Bihn, Timbuk2, and Waterfield. Of those, the one that keeps coming out on top in terms of build quality and attention to detail is Tom Bihn.

For the MILOfest attendees, I got bold and asked them if they’d be interested in sponsoring a giveaway for the MILOfest conference and they agreed! They’ve sent over a beautiful Co-Pilot bag with their top-shelf Absolute Shoulder Strap. This is a $150.00 value easily when you include the keystrap they included.

1)  Plan and secure AWESOME speakers for MILOfest ’09

2)  Negotiate with the conference center to get everyone the best rate and amenities.  I’ve been doing well on that front.  This is going to rock.

3)  Design a website to serve as a portal for MILOfest ’09 (and hopefully future MILOfests as well).  I am not a computer programmer, but I got a lot of help from Grant Griffiths and his son, Clay.  This site looks as good as it does because of their awesome product, Headway.  There is no way I could have created anything that looked remotely acceptable in this short of time without their help and technology.

I will be making all of this look prettier over the course of the next few weeks.  The substance that is here is good.  The speaker bios will continue to grow as I secure more speakers.  The Agenda needs work, but these two pages are my priority.
